Knizak by Ben Öztat, aims to create situations and to redefine the dimensions of a book. By this means it has a pervormative aspect which can unfolded in various ways:
The reader is invited to take the pages, which are made out of different materials, and rearrange them in the room. The reading space unfolds in a new and also literal way, For the exhibition „Ein Türke in Wien“, Öztat used the pages of his book to make a tableclooth out of them.
