Hochbaukonstruktionen
Björn Brauns Nest-sculptures, are made by his two zebra finches, out of various materials, that he puts into their cage. In order to find an appropriate place for the images of the nests, Braun searched similar to a bird, for a secure location – and found a very literal one: He glued the images into five copies of the book Hochbaukonstruktionen
(surface constructions) by Heinrich Schmitt, where they now lead, next to technical construction plans, a peculiar double life.
